LADERA RANCH FIELDS – FINAL: En Fuego 18, TBS 3
En Fuego (11-1) won their 25th championship overall and 13th at Ladera Ranch defeating TBS 18-3 in the championship final. They have had an amazing run in the Ladera Ranch league since the park’s inaugural season in 2001 winning ten championships. SCMAF’s COED (November 7 & 8) and Men’s (November 14 & 15) Annual Tournament of Champions (TOC) was a great success this year with 23 COED teams and 75 Men’s teams participating. Both events were sponsored by Diamond Sports which provided all the softballs for the TOC events.  Partners such as Tai Sports (Elite) and Mizuno provided great award packages to all the winning teams.    more...

BIG LEAGUE DREAMS, CATHEDRAL CITY – FINAL: En Fuego 14, Howarth Construction 8
En Fuego continued their great success in tournament play on the year by winning the 2009 SCMAF Tournament of Champions in Palm Springs. They would sweep the field going 4-0 en route to becoming the only team to win three SCMAF T.O.C. championships. It was En Fuego’s third tournament title in five tries in 2009.    more...
